POSITION OVERVIEW

The Electronic Technician Maintenance III position provides technical support to multiple devices under the Warfighter Training & Readiness Solutions (WTRS) Contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

The Electronics Technician Maintenance III position will perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic equipment for UH-60M Black Hawk Aircrew Trainer (BAT), CH-47F Transportable Flight Proficiency Simulator (TFPS), AH-64D Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT), Universal Mission Simulator (UMS). Perform PMCS, troubleshoot, and isolate faults. Utilize spare/repair parts to address faults in accordance with technical guidelines. Research and select necessary repair parts. Enter work order data into the online management information system. Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems beyond standard manuals. Supervise, provide direction to, and check lower-level technicians’ work. Ensure recording of all maintenance actions in the Management Information System (MIS). Manage site supply, warehousing, and storage to support maintenance and document parts usage. Ensure site employees complete contractual and company-required training timely. Participate in analysis, IPT meetings, transition meetings, support for fielding, post-fielding assessments, and life cycle planning. Provide technical support for VMware systems. Other duties may be assigned This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS Locations

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS B.S./B.A.

in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology from an accredited university and 10 years of experience, Master’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or Information Technology and 5 years of experience, Or 14+ Years of Experience in lieu of Degree Strong customer service skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems. Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver’s license and On-Post driving privileges Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGES

Excellent written and oral communications skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, customer service and decision-making skills Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Stand for long periods of time. Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance. Bend, squat, climb, and reach. Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing: viewing a computer monitor; extensive reading. May be exposed to extreme weather conditions. Experience utilizing test equipment to include: torque wrenches, volt/micrometers, network cable crimping/testers and solder stations to support repairs
