Cummins Technician CFS Truck and Diesel 700 North 13th Street, Erwin, NC 28339 Overview We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team in a diesel repair facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diesel industry and be adept at using various technical tools and equipment. This role requires an analytical mindset to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively . Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks equipped with the cummins diesel engine to ensure optimal performance. Operate and interpret readings from tools such as ohmmeters and ammeters for electrical diagnostics. Adequate knowledge in emissions systems, their operations and repairs to them. Ability to scan read and understand CEL codes and diagnose the issue and make a recommendation on repairs needed to resolve customers issue. Qualifications Proven experience in cummins diesel repair. Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose problems effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
