Year Scope of Work:

We are seeking experienced Fiber Optic Installers to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in fiber optic installation and a strong understanding of industry best practices. This position requires working on various commercial and government contracts, so U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, splice, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cables (single mode and multimode). Perform terminations, OTDR testing, and proper documentation of installations. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations. Adhere to all safety protocols and job site regulations. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members to complete jobs on time and to specifications. Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and vehicles as needed.

Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance. Proficient in splicing, OTDR testing, and network troubleshooting. Familiarity with both aerial and underground fiber installation techniques. Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

FOA or ETA Fiber Optic Certification. Prior experience on federal or municipal projects. Basic knowledge of structured cabling and low-voltage systems
