Impact:
Apply knowledge of the application of temperature sensors, pressure sensors, and strain gauges in high-temperature ranges. Utilize knowledge of the design and assembly process of Siemens turbomachinery for proper sensor application, cable run, and cable routing of the turbo machinery components. Utilize knowledge of instrumentation techniques. Involved in the assembly of turbomachinery. Prepare components for instrumentation, application of sensors, and routing along different parts of gas turbines to prepare for prototype testing. 20% domestic and 10% International travel required.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 8 years of experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, will accept 2 years of experience. Full term of experience must include: gas turbine assembly knowledge. 6 years of experience with: test sensor applications in strain gages; Test sensor applications in thermocouples; Test sensor applications in dynamic/static pressures; Instrumentation repair techniques; Instrumentation probes/rakes manufacturing; Instrumentation sealing techniques for gas turbine testing; Data acquisition operations and troubleshooting. 20% domestic/10% International travel required.
