Mechanical Repair Technician 2 We are looking for a Mechanical Repair Technician for our Charlotte, NC facility. Community Events Your Responsibilities Repair mechanical items in a timely manner, including: Chucks ,Blowers, Godets, Pumps, Motors and Rolls
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Complete work orders for all repairs
Assist in pulling and stocking inventory as needed
Operate forklift occasionally (In-house training and certification program if needed)
Pull parts and manage stock levels for above repairs Equipment to be used: Hand tools including wrenches, hammers and screw drivers
Inspection equipment including calibers, gauges, test stands Hydraulic press
Drills
Grinders
Pallet jacks and forklift Your Profile You have a high school diploma, associate’s degree, or equivalent military experience.
You will have a mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing mechanical assemblies
You’ve had previous mechanical repair experience (preferred)
You are reliable, self-motivated, willing to learn, able to self-direct.
You have a familiarity of shop machines such as bench grinder, lathe, milling machine, hand tools, soldering / de-soldering iron, drill press, multi-meter, arbor press, hydraulic press and pneumatic screwdriver
Must be able to lift 40lbs.
You can communicate effectively and at different levels with internal and external customers and employees
You can speak, read, and write English fluently
You know analog and digital electronic circuits and the ability to troubleshoot to component level on circuit boards.
