Elevator Technician Port City Elevator, Inc 5704 Nixon Lane, Castle Hayne, NC 28429 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Elevator Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in the installation, maintenance, and repair of elevators and lifts. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and excellent customer service skills to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our clients. Responsibilities Maintain, and repair various types of elevators, lifts, and related equipment. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues effectively. Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on elevator control systems. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service needs and updates. Document all service activities accurately in accordance with company policies. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall operational efficiency. Experience Prior industry experience is preferred, but not necessary. Familiarity with field service operations and customer service best practices is highly desirable. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
