Job Description We are seeking a passionate and highly motivated Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team! Responsibilities Test and repair electrical equipment or systems, including circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, and servo drives. Write, program, troubleshoot, modify, and/or repair programmable logic controllers, robotics, cameras, and other electronic equipment. Troubleshoot and repair safety systems, machine components, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Plan and execute machine integration into mass production, leveling, adjustment, and quality conformation for assigned work area. Perform basic administrative tasks, including documenting work performed by written or electronic methods. Continuously improve safety, quality, and detailed schedules for assigned work areas or projects. Participate in project planning with Engineering. Support machine production trials at vendors and internally. Certify Safety of Equipment per MMR/MMS standards via ‘Safety Integrity Check’. Essential Skills Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equipment installation and debugging experience. Experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems in an industrial manufacturing environment. Technical experience with PLC programming, including reading, writing, and modifying logic. Technical experience with servo motion controllers. Technical experience with relay logic, including wiring and troubleshooting. Technical experience with robotics, including programming and troubleshooting. Experience with hydraulic or pneumatic troubleshooting and schematic reading. Availability to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%. Additional Skills & Qualifications Technical associate degree or higher, or equivalent experience. Experience in pre-production set up. Experience with production processes, including Standardized Work (STW) and Job Instruction Sheets (JIS). Experience gathering and analyzing quality data from multiple sources. New plant or facility startup experience. Experience with high-volume production in a clean room environment. Work Environment This position is 100% onsite and requires domestic and international travel up to 30%, including travel to Japan for meetings, technical observations, and hands-on work after three months of hire. Steel toe boots are required. The role involves working in an industrial environment with a focus on electrical systems and troubleshooting.
