Vishay.com. Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay UltraSource is currently seeking applicants for an Equipment Technician III. This senior-level technician role will be responsible for advanced equipment diagnostics, complex troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, and operations. This role also mentors junior technicians, leads improvement projects, and supports the development of maintenance systems in alignment with company goals and ISO standards. This is an on-site position. Hollis, NH is a small suburb in Southern New Hampshire, an hour north of Boston, MA and conveniently located near other major cities and access points in the New England area. Vishay UltraSource has 27,000 sq. ft of manufacturing space and approximately 80 employees working between two shifts.

What you will be doing:

Lead troubleshooting and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, and high vacuum systems, including pumps, valves, gas lines, and production equipment with minimal supervision. Perform advanced diagnostics and root cause analysis to prevent equipment failures. Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance and calibration activities. Support installation, qualification, and validation of new equipment. Mentor and train junior technicians and serve as a technical resource to the team. Maintain accurate documentation including service reports, logs, and maintenance records. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety to ensure equipment performance and compliance. Participate in the Joint Loss Management Committee (JLMC) Support continuous improvement (CI) projects, including 5S and Lean initiatives. Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001). Ensure spare parts and critical inventory are available through effective asset management practices. Other duties as needed What you will bring along: Core Competencies- Advanced equipment troubleshooting and diagnostics Strong understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems Ability to interpret complex schematics, drawings, and manuals Proficiency in CMMS platforms for tracking PMs and work orders Effective communication and mentorship skills Advanced understanding of PLC Systems Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Qualifications- Required:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance or related technical field Demonstrated proficiency in equipment reliability and high-level repair skills Experience in a cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environment

Preferred:

Associate degree or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Technology. Experience in ISO-certified environments (14001/45001/9001). Lean Six Sigma exposure or training.
