Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support the layout, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair ofplex machinery and facility systems. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including numerical controls (N/C), robotics, and automation technologies. The technician will also assist in preventative maintenance, support engineering projects, and help train other team members while upholding standards in safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Install, modify, troubleshoot, and repairplex electrical and mechanical machine tools and equipment, including systems involving microprocessors, N/C controls, robotics, spindles, and pneumatics.
Diagnose issues using tools, test equipment, drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
Perform routine servicing to prevent breakdowns and ensure operational continuity.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blues, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
Perform basic N/C machine controlmands to verify machine functionality and download performance data.
Collaborate with engineers to design and implement preventative maintenance schedules and improvements.
Assist in researching and deploying automation and control technology.
Maintain and repair facility systems such as HVAC, furnaces,pressors, and water lines.
Maintain detailed service records, logs, and documentation of maintenance tasks.
Train and mentor junior maintenance personnel.
Lead or direct maintenance team activities as needed.
Perform duties related to environmental, health, safety, production flow, and quality standards.
Ad to and perform work inpliance with national electrical codes and workplace safety regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
One of the following:
High School Diploma/GED with at least 5 years of experience in an electro-mechanical maintenance role; OR
Technical Certificate with at least 4 years of relevant experience; OR
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in an electro-mechanical, electrical, or mechanical field with at least 2 years of applied experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Licensed electrician or equivalent hands-on experience.
Demonstrated ability to repair and maintain precision mechanical equipment.
Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining electronic, N/C, digital, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in drafting or interpreting mechanical/electrical schematics and engineering specifications.
Familiarity with the operation and programming of N/C and robotic systems.
Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or millwright trades.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Effective oral and writtenmunication abilities.
Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
Team player with the ability to build positive relationships and resolve conflicts constructively.
Additional Requirements
Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain required licenses and certifications.
May be required to attend training outside regular working hours.
Must be able to obtain a forklift operator license.
Must possess a valid driver’s license.
