Electronic Technician CoWorx Staffing Services Newington, NH 03805 CoWorx Staffing Services has an exciting new opportunity for an Electronics Technician in Newington NH. This is a direct hire role. The schedule is 7 pm to 7 am, four days on, four days off (rotating schedule).

Position Overview :

An Electronic Technician is responsible for overseeing the functionality of the electronic instrumentation throughout the facility. All tasks must be performed safely, in accordance with experience, training, instructions and guidance from the maintenance supervisor or designee. This position performs duties with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities and Duties:

(•Indicates an Essential Function) Repairs, installs, and inspects electronic systems and devices as directed thru verbal, written direction, diagrams, drawings or specifications for the facility. Calibrates, electronic instrumentation and sensing equipment used to monitor cable manufacturing processes. Installs and repairs the camera, paging, and speaker systems throughout the facility. Ability to work with other trades, manufacturing personnel, engineers, and supervisory personnel to develop and implement changes to electronic components and modify operation of process control equipment. Properly completes maintenance and calibration records on paper and in a variety of computer systems that are required by the city, state and federal regulations Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals, work instructions, schematics, and blueprints. Determines material or replacement needs and a logical method for repair; takes appropriate action to meet those needs and makes repairs. Safely operates various hand and power tools and powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, aerial lifts, and pallet jacks. Works as a team player to facilitate the objectives of the Maintenance Department. Follows safety guidelines (PPE, etc.) and demonstrates safe work practices. Ability to perform tasks in a safe manner, following plant safety rules, including Lockout/Tagout. Responds to multiple assignments in a timely and efficient manner. Overtime may be required, based on business need; regular attendance required. Must be willing to work any shift as needed, including nights and weekends

Qualifications:

Associate degree in electronic technology is required. At least one year of experience troubleshooting industrial electronic equipment using scopes, meters, and other electronic and electrical equipment. Experience with electronic instrument calibration program and using NIST Standards for calibrations. preferred. Ability to work with minimal supervision; self-directed with high level of initiative and strong work ethic required. Possess the ability to react to changes of responsibility throughout the day. Must have the flexibility to respond to multiple assignments. Math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent. Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently. Computer skills, including familiarization with Microsoft Office is strongly preferred. Must be computer literate to facilitate recordkeeping, information search and preparation of documents for performance of job tasks. Ability to Solder and Terminate various types of common electrical connectors.
