PrincipalDuties/Responsibilities:

• Performs expert level break-fix ⪯ventive maintenance, and/or design of mechanical, and electricalequipment improvements as well as complex systems as the employee’sjob specialty requires.

Provides troubleshooting support onequipment and technical support on production lines as appropriatefor the employee’s job specialty. Maintains in-depth technicalknowledge of numerous systems as the employee’s job specialtyrequires. Performs research and procedures as the employee’s jobspecialty requires.

• Programs, troubleshoots and analyzes complexcontrol systems to resolve in-depth software/ hardware andconfiguration problems.
• Utilizes predictive equipment andinterprets results for analysis, equipment condition assessment,troubleshooting and proactive maintenance. Including but notlimited to infrared thermography, ultrasonic testing, power qualityanalysis, laser interferometry, ball bar, and vibration analysis.
• Leads, drives and participates in CI activitiesprocesses, resultsand cost savings using CI tools and methodology.
• Identifies andsources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary. Suggestsalternative items and engineered solutions to improve reliability.
• Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards.
• Complies with 5S and housekeeping standards.
• May be required tosetup and operate multiple machining operations including but notlimited to: lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworkingtools to make and repair parts. May perform welding tasks.
• Studies and investigates technical and systems methods, tools, andinnovations that can be implemented in ATS sites to improvemaintenance practices and updates documentation.
• Prepares inputfor cost analysis for new equipment, repair/rebuild proposals, costsavings and innovations as required.
• Updates records and reviewsCMMS history and analyzes data.
• Provides technical contents ofsales quotations and performs T&M duties as required.
• Trainsand coaches less proficient technician. Assumes project managerresponsibilities as assigned.
• Completes and conducts on-the-jobtraining and technical self-study programs for career development.
• Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations,technical instructions and guidelines.

Physical Demands andWorking Conditions:

While performing the duties of this job, theemployee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers tohandle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, ascend/descendor balance to heights that may require a ladder or lift; stoop,kneel, crouch, or crawl in confined spaces; and talk or hear. Theemployee is occasionally required to sit. The employee mustoccasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. The employee isregularly required to use close vision and color vision. Theemployee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions andrisk of electrical shock. Work is typically performed in a factoryenvironment and is usually very loud. In the factory environment,the employee may be exposed to hazardous materials and/or greasy orslippery factory floors.
