Job Description
Electronics Technician (Journeyman) 2nd Shift 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 191 Delaware Avenue, Sidney, NY 13733 Job Summary Troubleshoots and repairs electrical or electronic systems such as CNC controllers. May also develop and wire electrical systems for special assembly and test machines, including automated equipment built in-plant, and troubleshoot and repair such equipment. Works from blueprints schematic diagrams and sketches but where instructions are not prescribed devises own methods and solves inherent problems. Assists in maintaining spare parts inventory to insure a minimum down time for our electronic machinery and equipment. Works with and understands microprocessor type controllers. Understands the operation of pneumatic and hydraulic devices and their interconnection with electronic control systems. May also be required to assemble electronic control cabinets for automated machines built in-plant. Uses all tools of the trade including electronic test equipment, ie multimeters, oscilloscopes, digital scanners, and programmers etc. Performs all other skilled trades work for which they are qualified The Company With manufacturing sites in Sidney, NY, Mesa, AZ, Nogales, MX, and a Design Center in Pasadena, CA, Amphenol Aerospace Operations has been a leader in designing and manufacturing electrical components for the aviation and commercial airplane industry for over 100 years.
