Full Job Description Description:

Electronic Technicianis responsible for maintaining the facility and equipment which consist of electric and electronic machines. Maintenance and repairs of electric panels, machines with sensors, air valves, and PLCs. Diagnose issues and repair machines using electrical tools and diagrams. Repair electric or electronic processes such as timers, control wiring, HMIs, motors, switches, sensors, contactors, lights, and other elements that are needed

Education:

Primary education or equivalence, trade school or college related course work desired

Experience:

Trade school graduate and up to three years in related position desired. Experience with food production equipment troubleshooting and repair is a plus. Familiar with line controls and PLC is a plus

Qualifications:

Technology inclined, fast-learner, and organizational skills, familiar or trained in food manufacturing equipment. Understanding food regulations is a plus, GFSI; HACCP, GMP, food security, safety and quality, able to multitask, ability to lift heavy objects. Required skills &

Abilities:

Performing routine maintenance of electrical systems and troubleshooting and solving equipment issues. Hands on experience with maintaining various repairs of packaging, process equipment desired Knowledge of electronic controls and PLC maintenance is a plus Perform preventative maintenance and modification to the mechanical & electrical systems, as needed Knowledge of packaging equipment including filling, seamers, case packers, labelers and palletizers is a plus. Understands and communicates directions to supervisors Meets or exceeds HACCP, GMP, requirements Works efficiently in a timely manner Works with safety in mind at all times Adheres to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety and food quality fundamentals including traceability, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans, allergens, control of contaminants, calibration of equipment.
