Electronic Security Technician VoltFort LLC Troy, NY The Role at a Glance We’re looking for a hands-on technician and project manager who’s ready to hit the road to install, maintain, and improve security systems to protect what matters. This role involves frequent overnight travel (Monday-Friday) across the East Coast. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys variety, independence, and working with a close-knit, experienced team. What You’ll Do Install and program CCTV, card access, and alarm systems Troubleshoot and repair electronic security systems Perform preventative maintenance and system testing Set up systems, connect to monitoring centers, and verify functionality Conduct end-user training after installations Recommend security improvements based on site conditions What You Bring Prior experience installing or servicing security systems Ability to use power tools, pull cable, and work independently Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Valid driver’s license and good driving record Willingness to travel overnight, Monday-Friday (required)
