Automation Technician Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tech to support the design, installation, maintenance, and improvement of automated systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and control systems, and be able to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize automated machinery and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, calibrate, and maintain automated machinery and control systems Troubleshoot hardware, software, and mechanical issues in automation equipment Program, test, and debug PLCs, HMIs, sensors, actuators, and robotics Interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings Collaborate with engineers and operators to optimize automation performance Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades as needed Maintain documentation of maintenance, repairs, and system configurations Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
