11AM-5:15PM Thu, 5AM-5:15PM (Fri to Sun); 3 ½ days onthen 3 ½ days off fixed schedule – 40 hours a week p/w

Summary :

Perform work involving theskills of two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keepmachines, mechanical equipment, or the structure of anestablishment in repair. Typically has a high school diploma orGED. The technical skills include the knowledge of machines andtools. Education/Experience o High school diploma or GED required o5-7 years experience required Responsibility level o Exercisesindependent judgment with direction from supervisor Skills oCreativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical andproblem solving ability (Required) o Team player and detailoriented (Required) o Basic knowledge of machines and tools,including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance (Typicallyrequired) Basic knowledge of raw materials, production processes,quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing theeffective manufacture and distribution of goods (Typicallyrequired) Basic knowledge of the practical application ofengineering science and technology (Typically required)

Major JobDuties and Responsibilities:

o Repair or replace defectiveequipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassembleequipment o Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure thatmachines continue to run smoothly, building systems operateefficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does notdeteriorate o Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluidlevels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions,following checklists o Use tools ranging from common hand and powertools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, toprecision measuring instruments and electrical and electronictesting devices o Assemble, install or repair wiring, electricaland electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery,and equipment o Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipmentto diagnose machine malfunctions o Record type and cost ofmaintenance or repair work o Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings,gears, and other parts of machinery o Dismantle devices to accessand remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, andpower tools
