Job Overview The Calibration Technician will be responsible for scheduled and unscheduled calibration activities for process equipment and instrumentation common in the medical device manufacturing industry. Main Responsibilities Perform both scheduled and unscheduled calibrations per applicable procedures and work instructions. Document calibration results in the calibration management system (CMMS) Collaborate across all impacted departments to plan and schedule assigned workload to perform work with minimal interruption to ongoing production activities efficiently. Inspect equipment and instrumentation to verify correct functionality by design. Interact with outside calibration providers to schedule and execute vendor-performed calibrations. Collaborate with instrument end-users as needed to acquire new or replacement instruments. Performs other related duties as assigned. Skills and Qualification High School Diploma required, Associate or Bachelors in engineering or related field preferred Minimum 2 – 3 years of calibration experience in a regulated production environment. Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work instructions. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles. Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills. Experience working with CMMS programs. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office tools. Proven experience working with minimal supervision. Stand for long periods of time. Lift 50lbs Work with hand tools. Work in loud and active production areas.
