Metrology Technician SPARTA Networking Charleston, SC 29402

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Metrology Technician to support quality assurance efforts by performing precise measurements, calibrating equipment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role requires expertise in metrology methods, inspection processes, and quality control systems, particularly in CNC machining or aerospace manufacturing environments.

Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of experience in metrology, quality inspection, or related field, preferably in CNC machining or aerospace manufacturing. Strong knowledge of precision measurement techniques , GD&T, and quality inspection processes. Experience operating CMMs, laser scanners, optical comparators, and other metrology equipment . Proficiency in ERP, MES, and QMS systems related to quality control. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Strong communication and documentation skills. ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or equivalent certification preferred. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred.
