In this role, individuals will install, maintain, repair, and calibrate various types of scales, ensuring their accurate and reliable operation. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, responding to customer calls, and adhering to industry standards. The role often involves working independently in the field, requiring strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting up new scales, performing routine maintenance checks, and repairing faulty equipment. Ensuring scales are accurately calibrated to provide precise measurements. Identify and resolve technical issues with scales and related equipment. Interact with customers to address needs and proved technical assistance.
Required Skills & Experience:
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems. Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with scales. A strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work independently.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Prior experience in the scale industry, or in related fields like maintenance or electronics is preferred. Driver’s license is required CDL license is a Plus but not required.
