We are actively seeking Fiber Optic Technicians with experience in fiber installation, fusion splicing, testing, and termination . What You’ll Do (Daily Responsibilities): Install and terminate fiber optic cables (indoor/outdoor, aerial, and underground) Perform fusion splicing , OTDR testing, and power meter testing Work with both new construction and existing network maintenance Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and job site plans Troubleshoot fiber connectivity and complete repairs Keep accurate job documentation, tool logs, and material inventory Follow strict safety procedures and job site protocols What We’re Looking For (Qualifications): 1+ year of experience in fiber optic installation, network cabling, or splicing (We will consider candidates with equivalent training or certifications) Experience with OTDR, VFL, fusion splicer, power meter , and related tools Ability to work in commercial environments and follow site-specific instructions Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Comfortable working indoors/outdoors , occasionally at heights or in confined spaces Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to job quality & safety Bonus Skills (Preferred But Not Required): FOA Certification , ETA, BICSI, or similar OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certified Background in telecom , low voltage , data centers , or structured cabling Previous experience as a Fiber Installer, Low Voltage Technician , or OSP Tech Why Work With Us?
