• Volt is hiring Automation Technicians for a leading manufacturing company in West Columbia, SC.

Automation Technician Job Duties:

Supports automation engineering services activities such as hardware and software design and development Maintain continuous system operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying automation/robotic system componentsTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components and return to serviceabilityUnderstanding of PLCsRead and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams including complex automated system drawings.

Proper use of power tools and measuring equipmentStrong awareness of safetyAnalyzes engineering test results, and implements changes to resolve problems.

Assist automation team in the qualification process of automated systems.

Records procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or method.

Maintains software, documentation and equipment to the latest revision or operational specifications. Assists engineers in developing and designing hardware and software required for all automationThis is a full time, temp

$24

• $26 /hour

Shifts Available:

11pm

• 7am Monday
• Friday Education/Experience Typically requires an Associates degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience. Typically requires 2 years of related experience
• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
