NO temps here— with Ōnin, you are a Teammate from day one! Whether your journey with us lasts two days or two years, we value your contribution. As an Electronics Hardware Test Technician, you’ll work with a team to test, troubleshoot, and configure electronic hardware systems.
Your day may include:
Test electronic products, components, and systems to ensure they meet strict quality and safety standards Troubleshoot issues, analyze results, and develop solutions to improve product performance Maintain and update testing procedures and documentation Set up complex systems, including hardware connections, firmware configuration, and system-level diagnostics Keep testing equipment calibrated and in working condition Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and manufacturing teams to solve problems and introduce new products Follow detailed engineering test processes Train and mentor others on testing procedures and equipment when needed Work Experience If you’ve repaired electronics, worked in test environments, or handled component-level diagnostics, we want to hear from you. Whether you’re coming from an industrial electronics background, military tech role, or hands-on manufacturing position—you could be the perfect fit!
The Preferred Candidate Will Bring:
An Associate’s Degree in Electronics Technology or military technical training or equivalent experience At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience testing or repairing electronic hardware (not software) Familiarity with power systems and the tools used to test them—oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, etc. The ability to read schematics, use precision measurement tools, and perform fine soldering (IPC 610/7711 a plus) Solid communication skills and attention to detail Comfort working in a structured, process-driven environment with safety and quality top of mind Ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift and move up to 25 lbs., sit for extended periods, and handle small components Good hand-eye coordination and vision (including color vision and depth perception) Bonus Points if
You Have:
Experience with automated testing systems or scripting Familiarity with ISO-9000 or BABT standards A knack for mentoring or training other technicians Background in voltage testing or industrial power systems We don’t hire temps, we hire
