Job Description
Electronic Technician Delectus, LLC Orangeburg, SC The Electronic Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of our plant’s electronic and electrical systems. Under the guidance of the Plant Engineer or designated supervisor, this position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electronic machinery and control systems. The technician will also perform duties aligned with the responsibilities of a Maintenance Craftsman Electrical Worker, Level I (Industrial Electrician).
Key Responsibilities Electrical Maintenance:
Execute all tasks associated with a Maintenance Craftsman Electrical Worker, Level I, including routine maintenance and emergency repairs of electrical systems.
System Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve issues in digital and analog electronic machinery, encompassing electrical, electronic, software, and pneumatic control systems.
Diagnostic Testing:
Utilize instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, megohmmeters, calibrators, and thermal imagers to assess and ensure equipment functionality.
Control Systems Expertise:
Understand and troubleshoot electronic machine controls, including PLCs, PID loops, AC/DC motor drives, HMIs, electronic sensors, communication systems, basic networking, SCADA systems, and camera equipment.
Computer Proficiency:
Employ computers for web searches, PLC program analysis, control equipment configuration, process monitoring, and general machine troubleshooting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is highly desirable.
Instrumentation Knowledge:
Maintain and troubleshoot process instrumentation and feedback devices such as thermocouples, pressure sensors, flow sensors, level sensors, speed sensors, and rotating encoders.
Testing and Calibration:
Conduct necessary tests, calibrations, and adjustments on process equipment, documenting all activities and findings comprehensively.
Qualifications Educational Background:
Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent education, which may include relevant college-level courses, military training, or other specialized training programs.
Experience:
