Automation Technician
Your tasks
YOUR TASKS
In this role you will be responsible for keeping operations running by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, with a focus on Digital Service tasks.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Technical Support:
Act as the first line of Digital Service technical support during shifts.
Systems Expertise:
Troubleshoot and debug manufacturing systems (CGMS, MCAT, MMS, CGRS, FFDACS) and automation technologies, including Siemens and Beckhoff PLCs.
Controls & Drives:
Provide support for Octoplant (Versiondog), Acronis, Barracuda, Group Policy, Domain integration, LANDesk, and more.
Cross-Department Support:
Assist Maintenance, IT, Process, Projects, Quality, Utilities, and Production teams.
Automation & Innovation:
Support automation projects and implement digital service solutions to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and enhance equipment performance.
Equipment Maintenance:
Install, repair, and troubleshoot control devices, motors (110V-690V AC), PLCs, relay logic, and electronic control systems.
Technical Skills:
Strong electrical/electronic aptitude, troubleshooting/problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with PLCs, IPCs, drives, and computers.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all plant, environmental, and safety policies while demonstrating exemplary EHS behavior.
Other Duties:
Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Must be able to stand for long periods, frequently stoop, twist, bend, walk long distances, climb stairs/ladders, and lift 50 or more pounds occasionally. Your profile
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE AAS
degree is Mechatronics, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance OR 5 or more years work experience in industrial maintenance
