The purpose of this position is to ensure that electrical skills are available to maintain the buildings and grounds and all utility and process systems at the Shelbyville, TN facility and to provide maintenance support to all site departments. Additional responsibilities include project work as assigned. Main activities
- Electrical maintenance in all areas of the facility buildings, equipment, and grounds
- Provide continuous electrical support to manufacturing departments to optimize production
equipment REE - Installation of new equipment and machines
- Upgrades to existing equipment and machines
- Support EHS compliance directives
- Other project duties as assigned by automation specialist or engineering manager Accountability including KPIs
- During regular walk throughs ensure that machine components are working to regular
standards, to prevent product scrap. Sensors and camera systems - Do not exceed downtime KPI limit.
- Partner with operations to ensure changeover scheduled downtime is not exceeded.
- Assist with the PM program to ensure PM targets are met. Profile (Experience & qualifications)
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical manuals
- Electrical troubleshooting skills
- Tech school industrial maintenance or industrial electricity diploma and/or previous electrical
maintenance experience
