As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in inspecting, testing, and troubleshooting electronic equipment, performing equipment calibrations, and drafting detailed drawings for part fabrication. Your expertise will be vital in reviewing project instructions and blueprints, designing, and assembling new or modified mechanical components. Responsibilities +

Inspect, Test, and Troubleshoot:

Ensure the reliability and performance of electronic equipment through meticulous inspection, testing, and troubleshooting. +

Calibrations:

Perform precise equipment calibrations to maintain optimal functionality. +

Drafting and Fabrication:

Create detailed drawings for parts fabrication by machine, sheet metal, or wood shops. +

Project Review:

Analyze project instructions and blueprints to determine test specifications, procedures, objectives, and technical solutions. +

Design and Assembly:

Innovate and assemble new or modified mechanical components for industrial equipment, machinery, power equipment, servosystems, machine tools, and measuring instruments. +

Testing:

Set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to improve equipment performance and gather data for development, standardization, and quality control. +

Analysis and Adjustment:

Analyze test results and modify equipment to meet design specifications and objectives. +

Documentation:

Record test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for product or test method changes. +

Additional Tasks:

Perform additional tasks as assigned to meet business demands. Essential Skills +

Electronic Troubleshooting:

Proficient in troubleshooting electronic components, including SCRs and OP Amplifiers. +

AutoCAD:

Skilled in using AutoCAD for reverse engineering. Additional Skills & Qualifications +

Electronic Calibration:

Experience with electronic calibration techniques. +

Visual Basic:

Familiarity with Visual Basic programming. Work Environment This position is based in an on-site manufacturing environment, offering billable holidays and vacation time.
