We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing automated equipment and systems. You’ll collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to ensure our automation processes run efficiently, safely, and reliably. Formal training in automation, or related fields, such as an associate’s degree or technical certificate, is preferred.

salary:

$16 – $18 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM – 4 PM

Associate Responsibilities Installation and Maintenance:

 Setting up, repairing, and maintaining automated equipment, including computer systems, and other automated machinery.

Troubleshooting:

 Identifying and resolving technical issues with automated systems, using diagnostic tools and analytical skills.

Testing and Optimization:

 Conducting tests to ensure proper system function and optimizing performance to enhance efficiency and safety.

Collaboration:

 Working with engineers, programmers, and other technicians to implement and improve automation systems.

Documentation:

 Developing and maintaining documentation for automated systems, including schematics, manuals, and procedures.

Process Improvement:

 Suggesting and implementing improvements to automation processes and systems to increase productivity and efficiency.

Staying Current:

 Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in automation technology and industry best practices. Skills
Technical Aptitude (1 year of experience is preferred)
Analytical Skills (1 year of experience is preferred)
Problem Solving (1 year of experience is preferred)
