Job DetailsResponsibilities:

Design, specify, and procure mechanical andelectrical automation equipment such as robots, end-of-arm tools,PLC systems, control panels. Assist and/or lead efforts forcontinuous improvement of factory automation equipment. Prepareproposals and presentations for approval and cost-justification ofnew automation equipment. Prepare and maintain documentation,program code, instructions and training materials for equipment.

Support and help train plant personnel in operation,troubleshooting and repair of equipment. Provide on-call supportfor equipment troubleshooting and repairs as needed to supportproduction schedule.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree inEngineering (Electrical Engineering Preferred). Five or more yearsrelated electrical controls or factory automation experience.

Demonstrated ability to design, implement and maintain safe,reliable and cost-effective automation equipment in a manufacturingenvironment. Fanuc Robot experience with working knowledge of FanucRoboguide, iRVision preferred. Ability to troubleshoot, repair andmaintain Allen Bradley PLC machine control systems, VFD’s, sensors,etc. Working knowledge of Rockwell RSLogix/Studio 5000 required.

Ability to troubleshoot and repair PLC/ PC machine control systems.
