Field Service Automation Technician Solize USA Corporation Clarksville, TN 37043 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled PLC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation and control systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs). This role involves working with precision measuring instruments, schematics, and calibration tools to ensure optimal performance of our systems. Responsibilities Maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems to ensure operational efficiency. Utilize precision measuring instruments to assess system performance and accuracy. Calibrate equipment and instruments using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools. Read and interpret schematics to identify issues and implement solutions. Conduct field service visits to diagnose and repair PLC-related issues on-site. Collaborate with engineering teams using AutoCAD for system design modifications. Detect potential problems in automation systems and propose corrective actions. Militarise equipment as necessary to meet industry standards and compliance. Requirements Proven experience as a PLC Technician or similar role in automation. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for calibration and diagnostics. Familiarity with AutoCAD for schematic design and modifications. Strong understanding of electrical systems, including the use of voltmeters. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including schematics. Experience in field service operations is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
