Troubleshoots discrepancies on electronics, computers, hydraulics, visual, pneumatics, and mechanical systems. Essential Functions Installs, replaces, cleans, repairs, and services various equipment including visual generation/display systems, computers, motion systems, electronic circuit boards, and circuits. Performs periodic maintenance and diagnostics on computer and peripheral equipment. Operates and maintains electronic test equipment. Accomplishes software archiving functions. Possesses a general knowledge of aircraft systems and their operation. Practices safety conscious behaviors in all processes and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education:
FAA A&P license OR Associates or 2 year technical degree/certificate in electronics OR 4 years in an electronic, avionics, or technical related field or equivalent military training. A&P license preferred.
Minimum Experience:
Experience in operation of electronic test equipment typically used to identify malfunctioning systems. With FAA A&P license, no additional experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Computer literate (PC and/or computer mainframe architecture). Some knowledge of Microsoft Office tools. Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits, computers, visual generation/display systems, hydraulic systems, input/output systems, pneumatics, mechanical, and flight instrumentation. Ability to climb and work from platforms and ladders and lift 50 lbs. Ability to work night shifts, weekends, holidays, and to adapt to changing work schedules. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.
