PLC Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled PLC Maintenance Technician capable of troubleshooting and making industrial and electrical repairs on machines. This role involves working with a variety of equipment, including a three-year-old extrusion machine, presses, and CNC machines. The ideal candidate should possess strong electrical knowledge and multi-craft skills. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical and industrial machinery. Rewire 3 phase 480v motors and work with relays. Utilize PLC knowledge, specifically ladder logic, for minor editing tasks. Handle Ph monitors, voltage, and conductivity meters effectively. Replace and set parameters for VFDs. Conduct troubleshooting repairs on paint lines. Perform welding and fabrication tasks using equipment like saws and drills. Create basic brackets and fabricate components as needed. Essential Skills 3-5 years of electrical troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing environment. 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance-related position within manufacturing. PLC experience and knowledge of extrusion, anodize, and automated paint lines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Fabrication experience is strongly preferred but not required. Prior experience with extrusion is a bonus. Leadership experience is ideal. Why Work Here?
