We are currently seeking a skilled Pump and Motor Repair Technician to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
As a Pump and Motor Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of pumps and motors used in industrial and municipal settings. From centrifugal pumps to electric motors, your expertise will ensure that our customers’ equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues with pumps and motors.
Disassemble, repair, and reassemble pumps and motors as needed following manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Replace worn or damaged parts, such as bearings, seals, and impellers.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication and alignment adjustments.
Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Document work performed, including parts used and labor hours, for billing and record-keeping purposes.
Provide technical support and assistance to customers as necessary.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification preferred.
Proven experience in the repair and maintenance of pumps and motors, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in equipment repair.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
