Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Johnson City, TN. Interested? Here’s what you’d do: As an electronics Technician, you’ll be troubleshooting and resolving complex electronics issues.
Diagnosing and repairing faults in electronic assemblies using test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters)
Performing soldering (both SMT and through-hole) and hands-on circuit repairs
Building and maintaining custom test rigs and ensuring test equipment is regularly calibrated
Assisting engineers in research and development activities—prototyping, testing, and assembling electronics for new products
Investigating returned products and supporting root cause analysis on customer issues
You’ll work closely with a collaborative team of Technicians and Engineers with the chance to expand your skills across technical domains.
Comfortable using technical documentation and managing equipment records
Working with test equipment
Diagnosing and repairing
Creating test circuits
Wiring
Test rigs to test our units
Surface mount soldering under a microscope
Working with the database Team to complete development.
It’s a typical tech position and will also be by the engineers’ side, doing hands-on work. Here’s what you’ll get:

Job Requirements Required Skills:

Associate Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics
Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics diagnostics, circuit testing, and fault finding
Minimum 2 years of experience with soldering, wiring, reading schematics, and building electronic assemblies

Proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
