Doppelmayr USA is currently seeking multipleskilled, reliable, self-motivated Field Electrical Technicians tobe based out of our Salt Lake City, Utah office and East CoastLocations. In this role, you will respond to electrical servicerequests and provide infrastructure upgrades for ski lift andgondola installations throughout the USA. Your Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose low voltage control problems over the phone.
- Travel toski areas throughout the region to perform on-site diagnostics andrepairs. This may occur in harsh winter conditions.
- Communicateestimated costs and timelines for repairs to customers.
- Installequipment and wiring for modifications and new installations.
- Logall services and report progress to Director of Customer Service.
Your Profile
- Formal electrical training preferred.
- Clearunderstanding of PLC and relay logic control system designprinciples and practices including HMI.
- Clear understanding of ACand DC drives, control circuitry, and electrical circuit diagramsand symbols.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as anelectrical technician including diagnostics and repair. Ski Liftexperience preferred but not required.
- Outstanding problemsolving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills, as well as computer proficiency
- Physical ability to productively work in mountainous environmentsduring any season.
- Able to work independently with littlesupervision.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have agood driving record.
- Willing to travel up to 75% of the year.
