Job Description

Responsibilities Maintain and ensure the efficiency of machining lines. Lead continuous improvement projects. Troubleshoot and modify CNC Machines and PLCs. Conduct time studies, labor studies, and defect reduction studies. Implement process control changes and cost-saving projects. Work with both automated CNC Machines and Manual Machines. Perform CNC and PLC programming and troubleshooting. Optimize cutting tools selection. Read and interpret part drawings and GD&T. Implement cycle time and quality improvements. Essential Skills Experience with CNC Machining and PLC Programming. Proficiency in troubleshooting and programming CNC and PLC systems. Knowledge of machining processes, especially in engine manufacturing. Understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Experience in reading part drawings and GD&T. Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or equivalent professional automotive experience (5-10 years). Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to create technical reports and documentation. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and hands-on as needed. Experience in a production environment, collaborating with Production, Maintenance, and Quality personnel. Ability to develop and manage schedules to meet challenging deadlines. Experience in managing small to medium-scale capital projects. Self-starter, team player with a positive attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Inventor.
