Job Summary:
- The Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical BIM Design Technician is responsible for the application of Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical software in the detailed design of electric systems and components for Substation Facilities in accordance with applicable industry codes and standards.

Who You Are:
- + Technical Certificate/Degree or Electrical Engineering Tech Degree + OR equivalent experience in lieu of a degree + Preferred Electrical Engineering Technical Degree + Experience working in electrical designs within the utility industry preferred + Teamwork oriented attitude + MS Word/Excel skills + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Outstanding leadership skills required to build and motivate project teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- + Using Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical in the preparation of intelligent panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams of electrical substation equipment + Catalog Intelligent Geometry in multiple platforms + 2D drawings of equipment layouts, lighting, grounding, power distribution system, etc.
+ Coordinate with electrical engineer, senior designer and vendors to develop the intelligent geometry and drawings.
