Job Description
Electrical Designer The Davinci Group LLC 223 South Evergreen Avenue, Woodbury, NJ 08096 This individual needs to have an understanding of the technical aspects of electrical design. Expected project work to include all levels of design: feasibility studies, conceptual & schematic design, construction documentation, and construction administration. Responsibilities Lead projects from an electrical perspective as part of a multi-discipline team Ability to coordinate the electrical design within multi-discipline teams Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective solutions Assemble and manage bid, approval, and construction issue electrical packages in an efficient and lean manner Interact independently and professionally with clients, vendor’s representatives and project field personnel Attend and participate in client and PM Group meetings Direct and/or participate in project site visits to monitor, review and sign-off electrical installations Other special projects as assigned Qualifications Preferred Electrician experience. Engineering degree not required 3+ Years of formal experience in industrial engineering design Proven experience delivering the complete suite of electrical design services, which may include, but are not limited to: MV and LV power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting & emergency lighting, vertical transportation, small power, voice / data, cable containment, fire alarm, security, lightning protection, grounding & bonding, hazardous areas and specialist control systems. Writing narratives that describe the electrical and special system to include user requirements specification sand sequences of operation Selection of electrical devices for power, lighting, and other special systems Developing single line diagrams that depict electrical power systems for a high level Advanced knowledge of all applicable electrical codes, standards and acceptable industry practices Commercial awareness with the ability to undertake value engineering activities, implement new technologies and, where they are implemented, provide cost effective solutions for PM Group clients Experience working with AutoCAD Strong verbal and written communication skills are required in addition to the ability to prepare written specifications and contract documents Professional approach and demeanor – A principled and ethical approach to safety, quality, environmental protection and business The ability to travel as needed for client and project development

$65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
