Keystone Engineering is currently seeking an experienced Lead Civil/Structural Designer to join our Baton Rouge team.

Essential Functions:

Constructability, operability, and maintainability of the project design. Development of design configurations associated with the various systems that apply. Providing comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective technical input into design. Preparation of detailed design drawings, in accordance with engineering design, required as project deliverables. Maintaining a Job Data Book which contains all the pertinent information used during project design. Review of drawings for completeness, overall quality, and adherence to standards. Ensures all drawings have been properly checked. Prepares and/or directs the preparation of final drawing plots and copies for transmittal relative to all project deliverables.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED 10+ years of professional working experience Experience with Advanced Steel Strong Written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated, creative, organized, and solution advocate Attention to detail

Experience Preferred:

Associates degree in CAD Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D – grading and plan/profiles
