Electrical Designer Jerry Pittman & Associates Inc Pascagoula, MS 39567 Jerry Pittman is hiring an Electrical Designer 2 in the Shipbuilding industry!!

Basic Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline. 1 year of related experience. Autocad experience required.

Preferred Design Disciplines:

Proficient with computer aided design equipment such as AutoCAD. Familiarity with US Navy Power Interior Communication, and Control Systems is preferred. One that possess an understanding in ship design and blueprint reading. Able to travel to numerous Naval Bases will be required to support pier side ship-checking and surveys.

Job Description:

Seeking an individual who is proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and Word. Applicant will be directly involved in electrical design and development of drawings associated with ship modification and overhauls. Applicant will be responsible for following applicable drawings procedures and standards. Applicant will also be responsible for locating, interpreting and applying government and vendor-furnished information and technical data into during development of functional electrical design drawings. Travel to numerous Naval Bases will be required to support pier side ship-checking and surveys.
