Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented PLC Programmer with excellent communication skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing control and power systems for industrial machinery, programming PLCs, drives, and safety controllers, and managing electrical parts inventory. Responsibilities Design control and power systems for industrial machinery. Program PLCs, drives, and safety controllers. Requisition electrical parts and manage inventory. Create electrical drawings using AutoCAD. Consult and advise with electrical integrators during equipment building. Assign electrical part numbers and develop Bills of Materials (BOM) in Excel or AutoCAD. Collaborate with mechanical designers to resolve interface questions promptly. Prepare transmittal letters for drawings and documentation. Develop wire schedules for field interconnections. Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with customers. Perform Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) at customer locations. Interface with electrical contractors for fieldwork. Communicate with customers regarding electrical design and address their questions. Provide quotes for electrical costs for machinery to customers. Essential Skills Electrical design PLC programming Knowledge of BOM creation Proficiency in electrical design software and tools Knowledge of industry standards and regulations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate’s degree (2-year) or Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in Electrical Engineering or a related field Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Work Environment You will be working in a start-up mentality environment with a close-knit team.
