This is a great opportunity to get involved on challenging and interesting design projects within the Power/Energy and Industrial Markets. Requirements High school diploma or Associates Degree with adequate drafting courses. Minimum of 10 years of electrical design experience within the Power/Energy and Industrial Industry areas. 2D and 3D CAD experience required. Must have a working knowledge and computer-aided drafting applications AutoCAD and/or MicroStation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Must be able to understand and comply with company policies, procedures, and processes. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be organized, self-directed, able to prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and take direction from others. Willingness to travel and work in office and field environments as necessary. Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code. Preferred Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree. Experience with AVEVA E3D and/or Bentley MicroStation preferred. Certificate in Design/Drafting. 10-12 years of electrical design experience preferred. Physical Demands Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension. May be required to lift, carry and move objects safely. Work Environment Work will be in a general office environment operating and functioning in a fast-paced work environment. Occasionally required to work in an industrial location where noise levels will be moderate to high. Job sites may contain the following: light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling, and talking.
