Control System Designer

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer with a diverse engineering skill set to perform all aspects of machine automation engineering and system integration, including initial concepts, specifications, design engineering, documentation, project implementation, testing, startup, and training of operating and maintenance personnel. You will be a key member of a diverse team of professionals developing solutions for our client’s most complex automation challenges.
You Will:
Works with the Project Manager to schedule all required design work Keeps aware of project schedule dates to assure drafting work is on time Oversee, schedule, and check Controls Designers work for accuracy and completeness Attend kick-off-meetings, job walks, project conference calls, etc. as required for projects Draft and design of control panels, MCCs, P&IDs, single lines, and control documents required Keeps current AutoCAD revisions and tools, attends trainings as needed to keep up to date Work directly with Controls Engineers, Sales Engineers, PMO, and customers to produce drawings and bills of material from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images, along with written and verbal descriptions Use corporate/client drawing standards as guidelines Utilize drafting resources to create new tools to increase efficiency Lead, grow, and mentor Controls Engineers Serve as an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of , our clients, and the professional development of our associates.
You Have:
3+ years of experience producing electrical control panel designs and drawings Experience with AutoCAD Electrical 2011 and appropriate add ins Experience with Microsoft Office Excellent written and verbal communication skills
