What You Will Do:
Our Industrial Refrigeration team is hiring a PLC Supervisor. This position is responsible for supervising a group of PLC programmers that work with PLC hardware and software along with managing field start-up of custom industrial refrigeration computer control systems. The ideal candidate will excel in guiding teams, optimizing project workflows, and enhancing customer satisfaction through effective support strategies.
How You Will Do It:
Leads and mentors a team of PLC programmers to achieve organizational objectives and enhance team performance. Overseesproject assignments and effectively distributing workloads to ensure timely delivery of solutions. Develops and coordinating customer support strategies to enhance satisfaction, responsiveness, and overall client experience. Provides training and educational resources to onboard new PLC programmers effectively. Monitors and evaluates the performance of direct reports, providing constructive feedback and support for their professional development. Drives software innovation through strategic vision, planning, and implementation of best practices within the programming team.
What We Look For:
Preferred educational background includes a four-year degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields; an Associate’s degree (E.E or E.E.T.) or equivalent technical training will also be considered. Certifications or coursework related to leadership and employee development will be an advantage. Minimum of 5 years of experience. Working knowledge of PLC systems (A-B/Opto22), personal computers, Windows operating systems, electrical controls, and HMI programming platforms (such as Wonderware, Ignition, and FactoryTalk). Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and experience in training and supervising direct reports effectively.
