Electrical Drafter Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Drafter to join our team. This role is crucial in designing and drafting electrical systems for modular panels and mezzanines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical design principles and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD 2D. Responsibilities Create detailed electrical schematics and technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD 2D. Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop accurate electrical layouts for modular panels and mezzanines. Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and company specifications. Understand and apply Bill of Materials (BOM) knowledge. Revise and update existing electrical drawings as needed. Maintain organized documentation of electrical designs and revisions. Essential Skills Minimum 2 years of experience using Revit and AutoCAD 2D for electrical drafting. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components. Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with manufactured products or construction. Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and regulations. Associate degree or certification in electrical drafting or a related field. Work Environment This position is fully remote. The role requires travel to a plant in Georgia for 2-3 weeks of training when starting. The work involves 60% electrical schematics and technical drawings and 40% desk work, including communication with customers and vendors. There are three different product lines that drafters could be assigned to: knock down, ballistic, or panels. The opportunity for growth is present, with a possible route to the engineering team. This is a contract-to-hire position.
