Are you an experienced Electrical Designer ready to contribute to the development of custom-engineered modular solutions? We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team at RemX in Chattanooga, TN. As part of a top-tier manufacturer specializing in custom-built modular e-houses, you’ll play a crucial role in designing and delivering high-quality electrical systems that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and analyze customer, sales, and vendor documentation to design products that align with customer requirements. Revise and update drawings and designs in response to change orders and customer requests. Research electrical codes and regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards for each project. Collaborate with customers to interpret and refine design specifications as needed. Work cross-functionally with teams to ensure designs meet client expectations and project timelines. Support manufacturing teams by interpreting designs, answering technical queries, and implementing design adjustments as necessary. Prepare comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) and electrical drawing packages for review and approval. Analyze specifications and performance criteria to ensure all designs adhere to required standards. Contribute to creating internal standards aimed at enhancing design efficiency and quality.

What We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or GED (required). Associate degree in engineering or CAD preferred. Proven hands-on industrial electrical experience. Solid understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and equipment. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, including NEC, IEC, and CSA. Working knowledge of CAD software and tools. Familiarity with basic hand tools and measurement devices. Ability to follow complex instructions and specifications. Why Join Us?
