Summary We are looking for a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and support electrical control systems and PLCs (Siemens and Allen Bradley) in a manufacturing environment. The Controls Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, improving system reliability, and delivering technical solutions that support production goals and efficiency. Duties and Responsibilities Design, develop and supervise electrical control systems, equipment and machinery Installation and technical support of PLC hardware and software. Programmable knowledge in PLC (Siemens and Allen Bradley) Sets operational objectives and delivers results that ha a direct to significant impact on achievement of results with the job area or within the context of a wider operational area. Adapts or enhances quality or value in existing methods Problems may be only vaguely defined and require understanding and consideration of other job areas. Advanced knowledge and skills within a specific discipline integrating theory and principles with organizational practices Responds to disruptions of production systems in a timely and appropriate manner Helps provide solutions in making technical logic meet the needs of the users Portions of the job may not be standardized or completely described in the job description and may require some independent action and thinking by the employee. Qualifications University degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Minimum 6 years of experience working with robots (Fanuc, Kuka, etc.). Prior background in a manufacturing setting is required.
