Electrical Engineer Job Description The Process Engineer-Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, operating, and verifying manufacturing processes. The role focuses on enhancing industrial processes while ensuring a safe working environment that consistently produces high-quality components and assemblies on schedule and at competitive market prices. Responsibilities Represent manufacturing in product development efforts. Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start-up and certification. Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data. Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes. Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output. Provide digital media for the manufacture and inspection of cables, harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies. Perform process simulations. Manage cost and time constraints. Perform risk assessments. Provide process documentation and operating instructions. Carry out other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 7-10 years of experience in Operations. Experience in process simulations. Working knowledge of process engineering software packages. CAD or AutoCAD skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications SolidWorks experience preferred. Work Environment This position is onsite in Arlington within a small wire harness manufacturing environment in the aerospace and defense industry.
