Full-Time Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team on the Northside of Jacksonville, Florida. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong background in power systems, industrial automation, control systems, and electrical project management.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement electrical systems for industrial facilities.
• Create and revise single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical or similar tools.
• Manage power distribution systems, low
• and medium-voltage equipment, motor controls, and VFDs.
• Program, troubleshoot, and support PLC and HMI systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens preferred).
• Conduct arc flash studies, load calculations, and root-cause analysis.
• Ensure designs meet

NEC, NFPA

70E, and other relevant codes and standards.

• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of systems.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, production, and maintenance staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
• Minimum of 5-10+ years of hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar CAD tools.
• Deep understanding of control panels, power distribution, and automated systems.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards, including electrical safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
