Project Engineer-Electrical Salary Range:

$94-$160K(DOE)

Job Responsibilities:

Provides technical and projectmanagement expertise for capital project execution in a millenvironment. Executes capital projects in the range of $10,000 to$5,000,000 from inception to implementation. Completes feasibilitystudies in support of AFE development. Administrativeresponsibilities include project cost controls, planning andscheduling, contractor management, check-out and start-upmanagement, and safety. Interfaces with corporate engineering andplanning, outside consultants, equipment manufacturers and materialsuppliers. Ensures internal customer satisfaction through theapplication of quality standards and practices. Works with projectsponsors to justify the authorization and expenditure of capitalfunds.

Job Requirements:

B.S. Degree in mechanical (preferred),electrical, civil or paper engineering with a minimum of threeyears’ experience in pulp and paper or related industry. A workingknowledge of process improvement, capital execution and projectmanagement methods are preferred. Must be able to form and leadteams or contribute in a team environment. The successful candidatemust possess computer skills, be highly organized, able to executeassignments and communicate effectively.
