US Electrical Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:

Ensure reliable operation of plant electrical and automationsystems with a focus on minimizing maintenance and repaircosts. Support the electrical team with maintenance engineering tasks andassist with developing and implementing preventive maintenanceprograms. Lead and participate in root cause analysis for critical failuresand system downtime events. Design, evaluate, and implement electrical and automationinfrastructure improvements, including lifecycle analysis and CAPEXprojects. Provide troubleshooting and technical support for complexindustrial equipment and systems including power distribution,control systems, and instrumentation. Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout all plantoperations and maintenance activities. Skillset /

Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 5 years professional experience in electricalengineering; industrial maintenance experience stronglypreferred. Proficient in maintenance and management of electrical systems inlarge industrial facilities (e.g., MCCs, VFDs, transformers, powerlines, large AC/DC motors, DC generators). Hands-on experience with industrial control systems such as PLCs,VFDs, DCS, and HMIs. Skilled in reading and creating ladder logic, logic diagrams,process flow diagrams, and electrical schematics. Working knowledge of electrical power system components includingbreakers, relays, arrestors, and transformers. Strong safety mindset with proven ability to work in asafety-conscious environment. Excellent communication, reasoning, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including MSProject. Have:

Experience with preventive maintenance programs for both new andlegacy equipment. Background in power distribution upgrades and CAPEX projectimplementation. Familiarity with lifecycle management and end-of-life planning forelectrical systems. Knowledge of cement manufacturing processes and labinstrumentation. Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish). Experience supporting corporate engineering initiatives andreporting. Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Experience selecting industrial products and managing vendorrelationships. Background in organizing technician training programs incoordination with training staff.
